THE KEY TO LIBERTY.
"An elective despotism was not the government we fought for; but one in which the powers of government should be so divided and balanced among the several bodies of magistracy as that no one could transcend their legal limits without being effectually checked and restrained by the others." ~ JAMES MADISON
"WE ARE IN SUCH A MESS NOW, THERE IS NO WAY AND NO 'ONE THING' THAT CAN FIX THIS MESS WE ARE IN...IT'S TOO BIG-AND WE ARE FAILING, THERE IS JUST 'TOO MUCH' THAT IS WRONG...THERE IS NO WAY TO MAKE IT RIGHT..."

How will government work after the 28th Amendment is law?
The repeal of the 14th amendment will return the 10th amendment powers to the States and the States will be the Superior law makers except for the Article I section 8 enumerated powers loaned to the Federal government and the States will be further limited by Article I section 10. All other rights and protections of the 14th amendment are in other sections of the original Constitution. The legislating from the Court benches will be eliminated as they will no longer be able to usurp powers by claiming the 14th gives all Federal laws superiority to the State laws and Constitutions.
The Bills Of Rights [the first ten amendments] were to place additional LIMITS on the Federal government and were never intended to apply to the many States. Most States have their own Bill of Rights in their individual Constitutions.
The repeal of the 16th amendment [income tax] will force the Federal government back to the small size and weak power government as designed by the Founders, Framers and Ratifiers. It will be stripped of the power of money and the ability to do social engineering by increasing taxes on one segment of the society while reducing them on the now desired parts. Solar and wind farms versus clean coal electric power product – tax credits and grants to the solar and wind and permit fee increases and carbon taxes for the other. Then they use money to bribe State and Local governments – the Federal pays part of say Medicaid then legislates a reduction in Federal share so the States must spend more – [unfunded mandates]. This is the same story again in education, Federal government grants money then demands new curriculum, admission standards, school hours, after school care, even breakfast and dinners. The power to tax is the power to destroy.
The States will then have the power to determine how to best fund the small weak Federal government which no longer has the alphabet Bureaucratic agencies by the hundreds. All of the agencies will be taken over by the States and they will determine which ones apply to their needs. Just this single change can reduce the cost of government by trillions over ten year budget forecast cycles. All can see if you close the Federal and use the duplicate existing, in most cases, State agencies will reduce cost and duplication. Taxes can then be established by each State to fund the military and pay their share of the national debt. Social Security can be managed by each State as well as Medicare and Medicaid – States have retirement systems and health systems so again no more duplication = less taxes required. Each State can then compete with each other for offering the best solutions to each need and how to make their economy better and use a smaller more efficient government with a smaller foot on the neck of free enterprise businesses.
The end of the 17th amendment will finally admit that the great experiment with Democracy failed to protect the States rights and powers under the 10th amendment. The Founders, Framers and Ratifies designed the Senate to be the State Legislatures seat at the Federal table. Just think if the Senators were still selected by the State Legislatures do you think all these super costly mandates from the Federal government or courts would ever pass the Senate. I think not as the Senators would not be making great speeches from the floor of the Senate but they would be on the floor of the Legislatures explaining why they should not be replaced.

The 2020 Constitution
Our site we seeks to find information and conversation pertinent to the current political views expressed in our society today, as they reflect the opinions and the standing of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Our project http://articlevprojecttorestoreliberty.com and the proposed 28th Amendment-20 words-that call for repeal of the 14th-16th and 17th Amendments, our sole purpose is to restore the original intent of the Framers of Constitutional representative government- our Republic.
Our research came upon the following. Let me preface, we are well aware of the critics of the Article V process, and the fear tactics that they employ to seek to dissuade persons from investigation or knowledgeable pursuit of Article V. We call it simply the con/con theory.
I would offer this thought concerning those criticisms. If you love and respect the document, let it stand on its own truth and exercise its own power. Article V is the process left to us by the Founders to address the governmental crisis we face today. The con/con fear is that the document would/could face danger to its entirety. Read the following and then tell us that that danger is already being realized, by our doing nothing. Look at the intention of the persons of 'progressive' theology and their plans for the document in the future.

Why Political Progressives Need to Think About the Entire Constitution
By Sanford Levinson.
W. St. John Garwood and W. St. John Garwood, Jr. Centennial Chair in Law at the University of Texas Law School, and Professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin.
I am immensely grateful to be invited to discuss my new book, Framed: America’s 51 Constitutions and the Crisis of Governance, to the readers of ACS blog.
I have crafted these comments in a way that highlights what may be an important difference between my take on the Constitution and that of many of my friends in the ACS. Although many, perhaps most of us, share the perception that the contemporary United States is increasingly caught in a “crisis of governance,” attention tends to be addressed at the defects of particular leaders, including, of course, the present majority of the United States Supreme Court.
There is much with which I agree in the vision of The Constitution in 2020 set out in the book co-edited by my friends and casebook co-editors Jack Balkin and Reva Siegel.
However, I believe that we cannot begin to diagnose the causes of our crisis by focusing only on what I call the Constitution of Conversation. It can also be described as the litigated Constitution, and it is litigated precisely because
clever lawyers are highly skilled in demonstrating that the indeterminate language of, say, the Commerce or Equal Protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment, can be used to support a constitutional vision congruent with the collective goals of the lawyers’ clients or perhaps the lawyers themselves (if they are “cause lawyers”).
In any event, these conversations are known to all of us, and we see them being spelled out particularly passionately with regard to the Affordable Care Act.
But the most important political realities of the Affordable Care Act are first that it took literally more than a half century to pass after initial proposals by Harry Truman and, secondly, that it is a defective bill in many respects with regard genuinely to getting a handle on the costs of a modern medical system.
To explain these realities requires no conversation about the “meaning” of the Constitution. Rather, it requires addressing too-often-ignored “civics class” features of the United States Constitution. How does a bill become a law (or, more practically, why do most legislative proposals have only a snowballs chance in hell of being passed)?
The answer lies in the almost insurmountable hurdles set up by the particular American system of bicameralism and the opportunity of presidents to veto any legislation they do not like on policy grounds, with the near impossibility of overrides.
I will rejoice when the Supreme Court upholds the Affordable Care Act, as I still think is likely. But it should also be recognized that what the Court will be doing, at best, is saying that a mediocre, albeit necessary, piece of legislation is constitutional if it can run the minefield against progressive legislation established in 1787 and left remarkably unchanged since then.
That is the importance of looking at the basic “framing” of the Constitution and the assumptions underlying it. It was designed by people who were basically mistrustful of popular democracy and, more particularly, redistributive legislation. They succeeded quite well in creating a political system that stifles both.
Moreover, the book looks at the constitutions of the 50 states, almost all of which differ in extremely interesting ways from the national constitution. All but Delaware’s, for example, include at least some element of direct democracy, whereas the national Constitution is committed exclusively to representative democracy.
All of the state constitutions include some elements of “positive rights,” the most important example being education. Each and every state constitution is easier to amend than the national constitution. Fourteen state constitutions allow the electorate at regular intervals to vote whether to have a new state constitutional convention.
Each and every state follows the rule of “one-person/one vote” established by the Supreme Court in 1964 instead of tolerating the sheer absurdity of an institution like the national Senate and its grant of equal representation to Wyoming and California, Vermont and Texas.
Most state judges in the United States are elected—and have limited tenure in office—as distinguished from the national practice of appointed judges (with Senate confirmation) and tenure until death.
A century ago, political progressives were well aware of the deficiencies of the national Constitution and put great effort into such amendments as the 16th, 17th, and 19thamendments.
Today, that kind of “constitutional imagination,” which requires that one attend to the seemingly dull and boring “structural Constitution”— what I call the Constitution of Settlement — is almost completely absent as we devote almost literally all of our time and attention to the Constitution of Conversation.
My deepest hope is that members of the ACS will realized that serious discussion of The Constitution in 2020 should include how it might be necessary to transform basic constitutional structures if we are ever going to achieve the progressive changes in national policy that most of us support.
End Article.
Footnote:
In his widely acclaimed volume Our Undemocratic Constitution, Sanford Levinson boldly argued that our Constitution should not be treated with "sanctimonious reverence," but as a badly flawed document deserving revision. Now Levinson takes us deeper, asking what were the original assumptions underlying our institutions, and whether we accept those assumptions 225 years later.
Overview of Framed.
http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/framed-sanford-levinson/1110771922?ean=9780199890750&isbn=9780199890750
In Framed, Levinson challenges our belief that the most important features of our constitutions concern what rights they protect. Instead, he focuses on the fundamental procedures of governance such as congressional bicameralism; the selection of the President by the electoral college, or the dimensions of the President's veto power—not to mention the near impossibility of amending the United States Constitution. These seemingly "settled" and "hardwired" structures contribute to the now almost universally recognized "dysfunctionality" of American politics.
Levinson argues that we should stop treating the United States Constitution as uniquely exemplifying the American constitutional tradition. We should be aware of the 50 state constitutions, often interestingly different—and perhaps better—than the national model. Many states have updated their constitutions by frequent amendment or by complete replacement via state constitutional conventions. California's ungovernable condition has prompted serious calls for a constitutional convention. This constant churn indicates that basic law often reaches the point where it fails and becomes obsolete. Given the experience of so many states, he writes, surely it is reasonable to believe that the U.S. Constitution merits its own updating.
Whether we are concerned about making America more genuinely democratic or only about creating a system of government that can more effectively respond to contemporary challenges, we must confront the ways our constitutions, especially the United States Constitution, must be changed in fundamental ways.
My Conclusion
Yes, they have announced boldly their intention to destroy our Constitutional Republic. Arguably, already - the legislature does as it pleases, the executive does as he pleases and the Courts take away individual and States rights - so in effect the entire Constitution is being undone - the key to its destruction is the 14th amendment, support by the 16th and 17th.
With all of their proposed intentions of a 'new' Constitutions in play...once they have 2020 version...the original will no longer exist...the naysayers need to wake up and smell the coffee...doing nothing will re-write the original more surely than any fear of a 'constitutional convention' (WHICH WE DO NOT PROPOSE) of any imagination would be able to do! A dear friend to our project has said to us ....not to decide...is to decide. Friends we can no longer afford the time we spend to debate or not to act. Not to act will surely mean the Constitution as we know and love it will die. The enemies of the document have surely chosen to decide that, they speak openly, publically, and proudly of their intention.

Not to decide...is to decide. Friends we can no longer afford the time we spend to debate or not to act. Not to act, will surely mean the Constitution as we know and love it will die. The enemies of the document have absolutely chosen to decide that, they speak openly, publically, and proudly of their intention.

Hysteria over convention to amend Constitution misplaced
August 30, 2013 Anthony Martin
With the release of Mark Levin's new best selling book, The Liberty Amendments, has come an initial wave of hysteria over the author's proposal that a convention be called to consider amending the U.S. Constitution.
The book opened at number one on the Amazon best seller list and is slated to open at the top of the New York Times' best seller list as well.
But the book's popularity has created somewhat of a firestorm of controversy that will only get worse as time progresses. The controversy has also spawned a certain hysteria among some conservatives and collectivists alike.
Levin, of course, is the attorney, legal scholar, and radio talk show host who served during the Reagan Administration and is considered one of the top conservative voices in America today.
Curiously, unlike most traditional conservatives, Levin has concluded along with many patriots and libertarian-leaning citizens that the ballot box has failed the nation and thus is not enough to bring America out of its current Constitutional crisis. Similarly, Levin maintains that the answer is not in electing more conservatives to Congress along with a conservative president, either. He states that this has already been tried, and nothing in the long run has changed. In like manner the courts have failed the nation as well, the most glaring example being the U.S. Supreme Court that violated Constitutional law by creating new law out of thin air in approving Obamacare.
Levin, thus, concludes that the U.S. government is raging out of control in all three branches at the federal level. The remedy, he says, is one that the Framers articulated in the Constitution itself -- a national convention of states that is called for the purpose of proposing amendments to the Constitution.
Immediately the alarm bells sounded in the heads of collectivists and some conservatives alike, those who have some vested interest in maintaining the status quo. Such "conservatives" are actually not conservatives at all, for there is no such thing as a "big government conservative." To people like the Bush family, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and other such elected representatives, such a nomenclature is perfectly acceptable. But the term "big government conservative" is actually an oxymoron. One negates the other. If one supports big government, then he cannot be a true conservative. If one is a conservative, then he cannot support big government.
The hysteria on the part of some so-called conservatives is one that is based on a total misreading and misunderstanding of certain terms within the Constitution itself. Even some conservative legal scholars have displayed a shocking ignorance of terms.
That misunderstanding is captured in the protest often heard among some, "Well, a Constitutional Convention is a dangerous thing. It could go rogue and come up with horrific amendments that are much worse than anything we have now."
The short response to these objections is "no" and "no" on both counts.
The assumption that what is being proposed is a "Constitutional Convention" is itself false. The Founders made it plain that any such convention of states is not intended to consider the propriety of the Constitution itself but to propose amendments. Further, the language of the Constitution makes it clear that such a convention is not empowered to "go rogue." The states choose delegates. And the states decide what amendments will be considered.
Even if the convention came up with some wild, rogue proposal, not only must it receive the approval of the overwhelming majority of delegates at the convention but it must go back to the states for ratification. Any amendment must receive the approval of three-fourths of the states in order for it to be ratified.
Thus, the process itself is such that the chances of such an elusive possible "rogue convention" are basically nil. And the hysteria being expressed by Levin's detractors is entirely misplaced. The hysteria should be directed toward this government that is raging out of control and running roughshod over every known principle of liberty and rule of law by which America has been governed since its founding.
Levin has proposed amendments that would put a stop to the lawlessness being displayed on a daily basis by the president, the Congress, and the Supreme Court. The power of the states would be restored. Senators in Washington would be chosen by their respective state legislatures, as the Framers intended. Every single agency or department of the federal government would automatically be dissolved unless that department or agency made a successful case before Congress for its continuance. Taxes would be strictly limited so as never to exceed 15 percent of the income of individuals and corporations. Government spending would be strictly reined in by forcing Congress to adhere to a specific Constitutional ban on its power to overspend. Term limits would be imposed on both houses of Congress and on the U.S. Supreme Court. Levin has even included a provision that would give Congress the power to overrule a Supreme Court ruling.
These are but a few of Levin's proposals. But he is quick to say that these are merely his own personal suggestions, and that concerned citizens need to have a serious, sobering debate on the specific amendments their states send to the convention. What we are now doing, obviously, is not working.
The concepts Levin discusses in his book are essential reading for patriots and anyone in the nation who is concerned about the direction of this nation. While there may be some disagreement concerning the ultimate success of the proposals, at least there is an orderly, peaceful provision on the table for discussion in addition to the possibility of the other alternative the Founders embraced -- open, armed conflict to force the government to submit to the rule of law as delineated in the Constitution.

THE LONG RIDE HOME
Think about Paul Revere and his ride to alert the people of the coming danger from the British. Well, let us paraphrase his words . . THE FEDERALS ARE COMING, THE FEDERALS ARE COMING. It is well that we repeat that in every home and ever town in the land as the Usurping Federal Government is out of control.
This huge behemoth believes that it is all powerful and passes any law it desires without even addressing the Constitutional limits. The President is going around Congress – he is spying on regular citizens, using the IRS to discriminate against groups that he does not like – the EPA is taking our property without just compensation as required in the 5th amendment. The other agencies just make rules and regulations that raise our electric bills by a factor of three or four without a single Law from Congress. The Court has been remiss in declaring laws and agency acts Unconstitutional and in the case of the ACA (Affordable Care Act) they helped adjust the language so it could be upheld by the Courts.
The Congress is remiss in not following the limits of the Constitution to quote Mark Levin: “THE FIREWALL OF THE CONSTITUTION HAVE BEEN BREACHED”.
Now is the time for we the people to take actions and insist that our State legislatures pass what we have proposed as an Article V State amendment to repeal. It is called the 28th amendment and contains only 20 words and do not add to the Original Constitution but repeals repugnant amendments that were passed after the civil war so they were not part of the Constitution until 1868 – 1913 time frame. Most like the 14th was dormant until FDR and then LBJ used new created meanings and twisted the history to use them to establish the SUPERIORITY of the BIG FEDERAL GOVERNMENT over the powers of the many States. Clearly this violates the original design and intent of the founders, Framers, and Ratifiers – the States were to have all powers not granted to the Federal government under Article I section 8 enumerated powers and the limits on the States in Article I section 10. The States were to have all rights and powers not loaned to the Federal and they were to be superior to the Federal in all things not enumerated.
“I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.” ~ James Madison
USURPED POWERS AND HAMILTON
Now maybe all will understand the importance of restoring the ORIGINAL Constitution and it's intents and meanings as of the time it was adopted. None of the laws passed or the Precedent case law created using the usurped powers has any effect in law. They by the nature of the usurpation are null and void because the usurpers did not have Constitutional power to change alter or create new rights or find new meaning to the various sections, clauses and amendments.
Any violation of oath of office by way of usurpation of power is the gravest of civic offenses. It is "treasonable usurpation upon the power and majesty of the people," as Alexander Hamilton correctly characterized any flouting of the people's fundamental law. ("letters of Phocion," 1784: regarding violation of the New York Constitution.)
Any usurpation "is criminal and odious" as declared by President John Quincy Adams in his first annual Message to Congress 1825. Such condemnation of usurpation-either by misusing granted power, or by grasping power which has not been granted - is in keeping with the Federalist's denunciation of this most heinous offense by any public official as a defaulting public trustee, including especially any and every Judge because especially charged with the particular duty of enforcing respect in practice of this basic law. (All from a book by Hamilton Abert Long).
So as you can surmise the Congress and the Courts are usurpers as they have created new laws where none existed and new rights where none had been before. So, if they usurped the powers and actions the actions and right are hereby voided in the real law.
WE THE PEOPLE created and approved the ORIGINAL CONSTITUTION which is a COMPACT with specific powers and limits.
*It bestows no citizenship on any person nor does it limit who can be a State citizen.
*It does not say who and who cannot vote in elections for the Federal Offices.
*The Constitution is a LIMITING DOCUMENT.
It does not pass any rights to anyone!
* Rights are from the CREATOR.
All unstated rights go to the States and to the people.
So, we are all citizens of our Home State - I was born in Arizona, but I am a citizen of Texas.
Keep in mind that all case law precedent on the Federal Level is usurped as Article III does not allow British case law theory nor does it allow for judicial review.
(1807-1815) The Writings of Thomas Jefferson_Part 1 Beginning on Pg 53.
"DEAR SIR, While Burr's case is depending before the court; I will trouble you, from time to time, with what occurs to me. I observe that the case of Marbury v. Madison has been cited, and I think it material to stop at the threshold the citing that case as authority, and to have it denied to be law."
"I have long wished for a proper occasion to have the gratuitous opinion in Marbury v. Madison brought before the public, & denounced as not law; &: I think the present a fortunate one. because it occupies such a place in the public attention. I should be glad therefore. If, in noticing that case. You could take occasion to express the determination of the executive, that the doctrines of that case were given extra judicially & against law, and that their reverse will be the rule of action with the executive."
So, as you can see we cannot trust the Judiciary to hold the LIMITS on the Federal government – it is now up to WE THE PEOPLE.

WANTING TO HAVE OWNERSHIP IN OUR GOVERNMENT AGAIN...
TRUST IN YOURSELF
"But we feel no ownership...no sense of belonging to our government today. More than that, we don't believe in or want any part of the dishonesty they are selling. Watch the news... when you can stand it...it's all a bunch of lies and arguments - and we don't believe any of them anymore."
Very late around a campfire we sat and discussed our roles in politics in our Country today, more than that we discussed how the majority of them did not choose to participate at all.
Admittedly, I was the oldest one there. Ancient to the youngest who were listening, double the age of the rest. My perspective held a combination of near amazement and panicked dread.
These are the young people of my family. Me, the Political Lunatic, how had I not managed to have shared in my zeal, just even a little of that part of me...perhaps it was, that I had shared too much...because they laughed when I asked and they told me they listened to me about as much as they listened to the body 'politic'.
It was late, and they seemed to be staying round the fire...I had a captive audience - if I could manage to keep them. I asked them how I might better approach the topic they purposely avoided, and the bravest began with the 3 sentences I started this paper with.
"But we feel no ownership...no sense of belonging to our government today." I asked them to expand on that statement. Surprised, that All- not just a few - immediately jumped in.
*****"We can't make a difference, what does it matter...the government is going to do what it wants...it will not matter what I do...I am just one.... and no one cares what I think."
We thought we could make a difference for once, we were promised we would...change you can Believe in...RIGHT !!! ......this is not the change any of us wanted. We wanted it to be Honest-Be Real-Be Good...it's just the same-old-same old...only worse-because this time they promised that it would be different-that makes the dishonesty in government today Compounded-LIES AND DISAPPOINTMENT, the chance we are going to trust again is a near impossibility.
******"Government was built so long ago, it's old and it seems nobody cares what all those old people wrote about or thought back then...it's a totally different Country now."
******"You know when you build something...you feel like you were part of it...there is part of you in it...and part of it becomes part of you....you value that-you respect that-you would protect that if you were asked to."
These are the highlights as I try to re-count our campfire chat.
They all know me. They know a bit of what I do, my work, and my very strong opinion. They were a little scared to ask, but they did, and we talked.
Some were older teen-agers and they seemed content to just listen. Many were young parents with their little ones asleep in their laps. They worry about bills, and husbands who must travel now - away from home - for work if they can get it, they worry about the future - a future they have no idea they can effect...and so I asked them the most important question first:
What if I told you, I knew there was a way, we could bring it all under control...the deficit-the debt-the jobs-the economy-the regulations-the over-reach of the government that you see-not just a solution to a few of your concerns...what if I knew of a way....we could tackle it all?
All of it? The first question? Yes, say I.....Impossible !!!!!. they say - but I have got their attention.
What if I told you that the government that was built so long ago is the one we need to get back to again, and that the government you don't trust - I don't trust either?
"OK, ...they say, but that old government is gone and the people who created it are long gone as well."
And I say, 'We can Restore it...AND we can stop the bastardized version we all hate...Guess what....My answer to the first question and my answer to the second question is the very same.'...now I really have their attention and they look at me as skeptics.
"What if I told you that you can own that?
You can be the generation that stood up and would not let the American dream, that all of those good-old-dead guys saw and created so long ago...be destroyed.
What if You could be just like them - what if You re-built that government and in doing so You were part of the generation that Saved this Country for yourselves and the babies that you hold? You could own that.
You could change the course of American History-for everyone-for the whole country. Not for any politician or any political party, not just elevating people 'playing politics'...changing the government in this Country so that politics does not get to play games anymore."
"The 'worst' that I am constantly harping on, the 'worst' you don't want to imagine, the 'worst' that they try to make a reality every day, it is already happening and that is why you don't want to listen-you don't want to know. What if I tell you...the 'worst' will happen....If you choose to do nothing at all. That is an absolute guarantee."
It is completely silent in the cold night air...and I finish leaving them with this thought to sleep on....'What if this time you were only asked to TRUST IN YOURSELF, is that a person with a solution that you could put your faith in?'
Past the broken promises that these past years had soured any faith they might place in the possibility of making a difference, past the dis-trust of anything 'political' they felt, past the dis-engagement that such disillusionment had caused...I saw very real interest, very real excitement, very real desire to be curious and learn more.
The 28th Amendment, initiated as an action in the states through Article V (5) - by young people, old people, tired and weary of the government - we have people. All of us becoming the-wanting-to - restore -the –government - we had people...that is where we find the WANTING TO HAVE OWNERSHIP IN OUR GOVERNMENT AGAIN...TRUST IN YOURSELF PEOPLE. You can all be one of Those People....is the answer I gave them.
That is what I listened to and what we learned and shared with each other...under God's stars. They were not dis-engaged, as I had feared, not really. They had chosen to turn away from the dis-honesty and dis-trust. They wanted to do something, but they wanted it to BE REAL this time... not a bunch of phony promises made by politicians pretending to care.
That is a very real and valid point.
I showed them my medallion - the one I wear around my neck. It's engraved with a quote by Ghandi..... 'Be The Change You wish To See In The World'.
When you assume ownership - you want IT to be part of you and YOU to be part of IT...but you also want it to be real....and something you would be proud to put your name on.
That quote requires something of value and commitment - in both.
The 28th Amendment and the Article V (5)process is the REAL CHANGE we can make.
Us - Each Other - We.....are the catalyst - the message - and the result...all we need to do now is TRUST IN OURSELVES to be the change we wish to see.
So simple - 20 Words - The People - The States, We Can Do This. We Have To Do This; Government is Broken and will not Fix Itself. We The People Must Be The Change We Wish To See...In Our Country.
I hope it is a message you will share with your own Family and Friends as well.
Thank you.

Plain Spoken English
I sat in my yard and watched my grandchildren running through the sprinkler. Laughing and screeching, dripping wet and all smiles...and I asked myself when was the last time I felt such abandon. When was the last times when I did not worry about tomorrow...the large TOMORROW...not the every-day-life-tomorrow -what job must be done, what bill must be paid, what thing must I put off and what needs to be done first?
I am talking about....The BIG tomorrow-where we are -what we are -and how are we to LIVE, and the possibilities of all that future stretching far out in front of us...was as promising and as open as each beautiful face -running up to me with wet kisses.
And in that afternoon my mind wandered, I had a lot on it...and worry was the theme.
Count backwards from 10-9-8...most never get to 7, before they are asleep. The anesthesia kicks in, and over-come we all fall deeply there.
What happens to us while we are under -is for the surgeon to perform. We don't really want to know how-or the gory details-and we certainly don't want to be awake for the pain of the procedure...so we welcome the induced coma and the blissful non-involvement.
I do not have any quarrel with the medical profession. I borrow it only as an analogy- it is a common ground where we can all relate. A metaphor for our troubles and the prescription that ails us.
The Condition we suffer has led us to the current state of affairs in this Country. We have gone to the same old doctor for decades, he never ages, in fact he grows stronger and healthier everyday...while we get a little bit weaker and weaker - and needier. We go back and we say, "Doctor, I just don't seem to be getting any better-in fact, I am feeling worse"....and the doctor just smiles and says...'Let's try this new medicine...in fact let me give you a few new to try'....and we trust, for we have been conditioned to trust...and we take all that he has prescribed.
Some of the medicine we become dependent upon, without it we suffer immediate effect...some have side-effects...so he gives us more medicine to counter the other medicine...our cabinets are full of his medicine -and we have grown to need it all.
Hazy from the influence of all the medicine that we are taking...the doctor even looks different when we see him next. His face looks more menacing, his eyes seem more piercing...did he take something from me when I wasn't looking...I can't remember because my memory is fuzzy...must be all the medicine I am taking...because for....just a moment..... I imagined myself lost. I imagined myself bound and unable to free myself from invisible chains...And the doctor smiled once again, this time behind my back as I turned...but I sensed it...
He smiled because he knew I would be back...he smiled because he knew I knew it too...whatever he was selling I would need to have...whatever he said I needed to give in return, I would give it...because I was hooked...because I was reliant...because it would take courage – not to come back...and he did not think - and I was not sure...I would ever be strong enough to do that...
He mentioned a surgery...one he might have to perform...where he would be the surgeon...and while I would be completely asleep he would work his magic...He was sure....that would do the trick...he'd remove the last part of me that seemed to be resisting his drugs...he was sure that rejection was why the medicine just didn't take...what would he remove? What other part of me would he take? Would it be the 'Me' that is 'me'....Don't fall asleep..!!! Get better my mind screamed!
As I walked out of the office I noticed everyone else going in...they had the same condition...the same look in their eye-the same dragging feet...so many...all going to the same doctor...for the same thing...needing it...and I had the clarity of mind to think for myself...WHAT POWER THAT DOCTOR HAS !!!
GRAMA, GRAMA....WATCH ME...ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION...!!??
And Thank God, I could. I did see them and I shouted back...I AM...I JUST LOOKED AWAY FOR A MINUTE...I CAN SEE YOU...I DO SEE YOU...
I shook myself free of my imagining, even as I knew it was indeed very real, and in my heart I told my “daymare” - metaphorical doctor...You Got NOTHING I need. All I need is right here in front of my eyes...and for THEM I will work to put you out of business.
In Conclusion:
......I asked myself when was the last time I felt such abandon?
I remember exactly when. It was that day ......after I woke up.
We have received a suggestion, plain spoken English. Make it easier and simpler to understand.
We are soldiers, and teachers, and constitutional scholars and students, we are reporters and publishers and everyday people. We can speak in correct literary language - we curse - we write, we seek to reach you each and every one - in every way that we can.
I will not tell you what to think, I will only tell you that you should.
My metaphor the doctor = Big Government - the medicine = our government dependencies.
The Me = Us..... and the What = every single freedom we have – Big Government will take/has taken/will never be satisfied until it has it all...our Liberty.
You ask...What we ALL can do. Demand an Article V in our State to consider and pass the 28th Amendment. Demand that it be sent to Congress and that it be returned to the States for Ratification.
The exact hour - of the day - when it is Ratified - will be the day that it is done...IT SHALL BECOME THE LAW OF THE LAND, AND THERE IS NOT A DARN THING BIG GOVERNMENT CAN DO ABOUT IT ...it will shrink and serve as it was originally intended.
Everything you need: the resources, the political and historical background, the reasons why - the how and the what, are here on this site.
The reality is, I can make this choice for me and act for myself, but it will take many more than just me/us. It is going to take that same commitment from you.
I cannot be more plain-spoken than that.
